- 读图先于读字：图画告诉给你知篇文大概讲什么。
- 招牌重点是大字关键词：TEA、OPEN、SALE、EXIT。
- 跟时间词读（last summer → afternoon → evening）不会乱。

§课文原文 Passage
1Last summer, my family visited my grandparents in Taiwan. We went by plane, and the flight took one hour. My grandmother cooked delicious food for us. We had beef noodles and dumplings, and I ate two bowls of rice. The city was busy but beautiful. In the afternoon, we walked around the old streets and looked at the shops.
2There were many shops with colourful signs and pretty pictures. On one sign, I read the title and found the keyword TEA, so we went in for a drink. A kind shopkeeper answered my questions happily. I bought a small gift for my best friend with my pocket money.
3In the evening, we sat in the garden and watched the stars. My grandfather told me stories about his childhood. Before bed, I wrote in my diary and drew a picture of the night sky. When I look at the picture now, I understand how much I love my family. I want to visit Taiwan again next year.

3逐步讲解 Steps
- 看图估内容举个例子：图中有一间茶楼与大招牌，未读文章也能估到内容与旅行、饮茶有关。看图估内容是阅读的第一步：图片提供场景、人物与动作三类线索；估的时候在心中问三个问题：这是什么地方？有谁在场？他们在做什么？带著这些预测读文章，过程就像验证答案，理解自然更深入。
- 按时间顺序读举个例子：last summer 去台湾、afternoon 行老街、evening 看星星，顺著时间词前进，旅程就像在地图上走了一遍。旅行类记叙文几乎都用时间顺序，日期、季节与 morning、afternoon、evening 都是路标；一边读一边把时间词写在草稿纸上，形成简单的时间轴，之后做题回查速度会快很多。
- 从招牌找关键词举个例子：招牌上有大字 TEA，不用逐字细看也知道那间店卖饮品。招牌与标题一样是高度压缩的讯息，往往一个大字就是重点；读图时先找最大、最抢眼的字，再想想它与文章内容的关系。这种先抓大再抓小的读法，用在海报、广告与图书馆找书同样有效，是受用一生的技巧。
- 图文对照举个例子：文中说 colourful signs and pretty pictures，就在图中找出文字描述的那个招牌，看看两者是否吻合。图文对照能检查自己有没有读错：文中说的每一样东西，都应该能在图里找到对应；找不到时要么是图与文不完全一致，要么是自己读漏了细节，两种情况都值得停下来再核对一次。
- 圈出细节举个例子：一边读一边圈出吃了什么（beef noodles and dumplings）、吃了多少（two bowls of rice）这类细节。具体数字与名称最容易成为题目，圈出来等于预先做了答案索引；建议在旁边加上小标签，例如 ate、how much，之后做题时按标签查找，几秒钟就能定位到需要的句子。
- 读完说感受举个例子：读完想一想：主角为什么想再去台湾？文中说 I understand how much I love my family.，原来旅行的意义是与家人共处。阅读不只是找答案，还要读出文字背后的感情；回答这类题目时，先引用文中表达感受的句子，再用自己的文字解释，答案便有根有据，不会变成空谈。
5例题示范 Example
问题：怎样结合图片与关键词，判断那间店卖什么？
- 第一步：先看图：图中有没有杯、有没有食物？场景线索会告诉你这是什么类型的店。
- 第二步：看招牌上最大的字：那个字是 TEA，是全图最抢眼的讯息。
- 第三步：把招牌与文中句子对照：I found the keyword TEA, so we went in for a drink.
- 第四步：确认意思：for a drink 表示进店买饮品，所以答案是茶类饮品。
- 第五步：用同样方法试读另一个招牌：BAKERY 代表面包店，举一反三才算真正掌握。
- 答案：答案：那间店卖饮品，因为招牌的关键词是 TEA，而且文中说 we went in for a drink，两个线索互相印证。
