§課文原文 Passage
1I have a big family. My father is tall and strong. He is a doctor. He works in a hospital. My mother is kind. She is a teacher. She teaches English. She reads with her students every day. I have one brother. He is ten. He likes football. We live in a small flat in Kowloon. We love each other.
2In class, we read this passage together. First, I read the title. Then I look at the picture. I find the keywords, like doctor and teacher. They help me understand the passage.
3Then I answer the questions. Question one asks, 'Where does Father work?' The answer is in a hospital. There is a sign outside the hospital too. Now I understand the passage very well. Reading is easy when I follow the steps!

3逐步講解 Steps
- 三步法複習舉個例子：閱讀三步法：先讀 title（標題），再看 picture（圖畫），最後找 keywords（關鍵字）。小二的篇章比小一長，資料也更多，三個步驟因此更加重要；開始讀之前，先把三步在心裡數一次再動筆。三步的次序不可調換：標題定主題，圖畫給場景，關鍵字帶出細節；先掌握主題，之後找資料才不會走錯方向。
- 第一段：家人舉個例子：My father is tall and strong. He is a doctor. He works in a hospital. My mother is kind. She is a teacher. She teaches English.——六個句子介紹了爸爸媽媽的外貌、職業和工作地點，是介紹家人的典型寫法。仿寫時照此次序：外貌、職業、工作地點。
- 找關鍵字答題舉個例子：問題問 Where does Father work?（爸爸在哪裡工作），就在文中找 works in a hospital，答案就藏在關鍵字旁邊。先抓住問題裡的字，再回文中找相同或相近的字，這樣找答案又快又準確。找關鍵字前先留意疑問詞：where 找地點，what 找東西，who 找人物；確定要找哪一類資料，搜索範圍就大大縮小。
- 第二段：怎樣讀舉個例子：先讀 title 知道主題，再看 picture 了解場景，最後 find keywords：doctor 和 teacher，這兩個職業字就是全文關鍵。題目多半圍繞關鍵字出，找到後用筆圈起來，答題時就一目了然。圈關鍵字時在旁邊寫上對應題號，答題時按號查找，速度更快；這個標記習慣到高年級讀長篇章時同樣好用。
- 第三段：答問題舉個例子：答案要用文中原有的字：問 Where does Father work? 就答 In a hospital.，不要自己改字或換說法。閱讀理解的答案幾乎都藏在原文裡，照抄關鍵部分是最穩妥的策略，也最不容易被扣分。抄答案時留意大小寫和標點：句首字母要大寫，句尾要加句號；答案寫完整句還是短語，要按題目指示決定。
- 連招牌也讀舉個例子：hospital（醫院）門外也掛著牌子。平時在路上、商場或公園見到英語招牌，都值得停下來讀一讀。招牌用字簡短實用，測驗說不定就會考；養成見牌就讀的習慣，認字量自然一天天增加。讀招牌時可以順手把生字抄進簿裡，回家查一次意思，例如 exit（出口）、entrance（入口）；累積多了，閱讀時遇到同類字詞就不會陌生。
- 複述給別人聽舉個例子：My father is a doctor. He works in a hospital. My mother is a teacher.——三個句子就把全文重點說完。把讀過的篇章複述給家人聽，是最有效的檢查方法：講得出來，就代表真的讀懂了。複述時先說出主題 family，再逐句講重點，最後加一句自己的感受；有開頭有結尾，複述就變成一次小小的口頭報告。
5例題示範 Example
用三步法讀〈My Family〉：先讀標題，再看圖畫，然後找關鍵字，最後答三條問題。
- 第一步讀標題：My Family，立刻知道全文講的是家人。
- 第二步看圖：圖中有一位醫生和一位老師，先猜一猜他們是誰。
- 第三步找關鍵字：doctor, teacher, hospital，把它們一一圈起來。
- 答 Q1：What does Father do? 用文中原字回答 He is a doctor.
- 答 Q2：Where does he work? 答案緊跟在 works 後面：In a hospital.
- 答 Q3：What does Mother teach? 答 She teaches English.，留意 teaches 加了 s。
- 答案：Q1 He is a doctor. Q2 In a hospital. Q3 She teaches English.
