§课文原文 Passage
1I go to the supermarket with my mother. We need to buy food. We get a trolley. First, we go to the vegetable section. We buy tomatoes and carrots. Then, we go to the meat section. We buy chicken. Finally, we go to the drinks section. We buy milk. We pay at the counter.
2There are many signs in the supermarket. One sign says, 'No smoking.' Another says, 'Please keep the trolley to the right.' I read the title of each sign first. Then I find the keywords. The keywords help me understand the signs.
3Some signs have a picture too. A picture helps me understand fast. Then I answer my mother's questions about the signs. I can answer them all. My mother says I am a good reader. I am happy!

3逐步讲解 Steps
- 场景设定举个例子：我和妈妈到 supermarket（超级市场）买东西，入口处先取一架 trolley（手推车）。场景一开始就点明地点与人物，读记叙文时先抓住这两个要素，后面的内容就容易理解。supermarket 由 super 加 market 组成，拆开记更容易。阅读时把地点和人物圈起来，作为理解全篇的锚点；之后每一件事都可以问一句：在哪里发生？谁在做？
- 第一段：买东西路线举个例子：先到 vegetable section（蔬菜区）买 tomatoes 和 carrots，再到 meat section（肉类区）。购物按区域进行，有明确的次序；记叙文用 first, then 交代先后，阅读时可以自己把这些顺序字标出来。first、then、next、finally 是记叙文的骨架，找出之后故事先后一目了然，排次序的题目也迎刃而解。
- 第二段：两个牌子举个例子：店里有两个常见的牌子：No smoking（不准吸烟）和 Please keep the trolley to the right（手推车请靠右）。前一句是禁止，后一句是请求；以 Please 开头的牌子语气有礼，是公共场所最常见的英文。阅读牌子先辨语气：是禁止还是请求？语气判断正确，答牌子作用才准确，例如 To tell people not to smoke.
- No + 动名词举个例子：No smoking 等于不准吸烟，No running 是不准奔跑，No eating 是不准饮食。只要看见以 No 开头的牌子，后面的动作就被禁止；动词要加 ing 变成动名词，这是禁止标语的固定写法，规则非常可靠。同类牌子还有 No parking（不准停车）；留意 smoke 变 smoking 时要先去掉字尾的 e，拼字要记牢。
- 图画辅助举个例子：有些牌子除了文字还画有图案，例如一支烟被斜线划过。看图比看字更快，但图与字要一起看才最稳妥：图提供即时的印象，字提供准确的意思，两者互相补足，这也是阅读图画与标志的基本功，平时就要多练习。公园常见的 Keep off the grass（请勿践踏草地）就是一例：先看图估计大意，再用文字核对；两边一致，理解就万无一失。
- 回答妈妈的问题举个例子：妈妈问牌子说什么，就用文中的字回答：It says "No smoking."（牌上写著不准吸烟）以及 Keep the trolley to the right.。用 It says 开头介绍牌子内容，是描述标语的标准句式，学会了到处都用得上。牌子若属请求性质，也可以用 It asks us to... 句式把请求的意思带出。
- 句式练习举个例子：I see a sign. It says "No smoking."（我看见一个牌子，上面写著不准吸烟）。用这个两句式介绍超级市场里任何一个牌子：先说看见，再说内容；练熟之后，逛超市时就能随时说出口。练习时两人一组：一人指著牌子问 What does the sign say?，另一人用句式回答，然后互换角色；熟练之后再加快速度。
