§課文原文 Passage
1Today is Saturday. I wake up early because the sun is shining through my window. I get dressed and eat breakfast with my family. I have toast and milk. My little sister eats an egg.
2After breakfast, I go to the park with my dog, Max. Max runs around and chases butterflies. We meet my friend Lily near the swings. We take turns on the swings and play hide-and-seek behind the big trees.
3At noon, we have lunch at a small cafe. I eat a sandwich and drink lemon tea. We go home at three o'clock. I feel tired but very happy. I love sunny Saturdays like this. At night, I tell my mother about my day. She smiles and says, 'You had a great Saturday.' I go to bed at nine. Before I sleep, I say goodnight to Max. Then I close my eyes and dream about the park.

- 三步曲進階本課考點是三步曲的進階運用：先讀 title，再看 picture，最後找 keywords，並且新增第四樣工具——時間詞。P3 的短文比以往長，情節按時間推進，例如 Today is Saturday、At noon、at three o'clock，這些時間詞就是文章的骨架。方法是把時間詞逐一圈出，按先後排好，文章脈絡便一目了然。易錯之處是只顧找關鍵字而忽略時間順序，答 When 一類題目時便無從入手；時間詞是本課的新重點，務必圈出。
- 第一段：早上考點是理解 because 引導的原因句。例如 I wake up early because the sun is shining. 因為陽光照進窗來，所以一早起來。方法是把 because 前後兩部分分開讀：前面是結果，後面是原因。考試題目常問 Why，答案便藏在 because 之後。易錯之處是把因果倒轉，答成 I wake up early；緊記 because 之後的內容才是原因，答題時整句引用最穩妥，例如 Because the sun is shining. 因果分明，分數便穩。
- 第一段下：早餐考點是處理段落中的新詞。例如 I eat breakfast with my family. I have toast and milk. toast 是多士，屬於新字。方法是一邊讀一邊把生詞圈出，先從插圖或上下文猜測意思，然後查證，最後抄進生詞簿，日後溫習便有材料。易錯之處是遇見生詞便跳過整句，結果漏掉重要資料；正確的態度是圈出生詞、推測詞義、繼續讀下去，讀完全文再回頭處理生詞，閱讀的流暢與詞彙的積累便可兼得。
- 第二段：公園考點是從較長的段落中找出人物與動作。例如 I go to the park with my dog, Max. Max runs around and chases butterflies. 小狗 Max 追蝴蝶，畫面立刻浮現。我們又在 swings（鞦韆）附近遇到 Lily，兩人 take turns 輪流玩。方法是一邊讀一邊把人名圈出：Max、Lily，再把各人的動作連起來，情節便清楚。易錯之處是把 take turns 解錯，它是輪流之意；圈出生詞並聯繫上下文，詞義便自然明白。
- 第三段：午餐和歸家考點是依時間詞整理段落資料。At noon, we have lunch at a small cafe. I eat a sandwich and drink lemon tea. We go home at three o'clock. I feel tired but very happy. 正午在小咖啡店吃午餐，三時回家，一天的情節有頭有尾。方法是用時間詞做筆記標題：At noon 之下記飲食，at three o'clock 之下記回家。易錯之處是忽略 but 之後的轉折：tired but very happy 是又累又開心，兩種感受並存，讀時宜念出轉折的語氣。
- 用時間詞答題考點是按疑問詞定位答案。問 When do they go home? 便找 at three o'clock；問 Where do they have lunch? 便找 at a small cafe。方法是先辨認疑問詞：when 問時間，where 問地點，what 問事物，who 問人物，然後帶著疑問詞回文中掃描，答案句子自然現形。易錯之處是不看疑問詞便亂找一通，把地點答成時間；先審題、後定位，是閱讀答題的固定步驟，練熟了速度便快，準確也高。
- 講一次給人聽考點是用自己的話複述全篇。例如：On Saturday I wake up early, go to the park with Max, have lunch at a cafe and go home at three. 一口氣把一天講完，既練口語，也檢查自己是否真正讀懂。方法是按時間詞的次序串連事件，每件事一句，次序分明。易錯之處是複述時次序顛倒或漏掉事件；先閉上眼睛，把時間線由早到晚想一遍，再開口複述，內容便完整而有條理，聽的人也跟得明白。
