- 动词是动作字：run, eat, play, throw, win, cheer, wave。
- he/she/it 主语动词加 s：watches, waves, wins。
- I/you/we/they 后不加 s。

1Today is Sports Day at our school. The sun is bright. In the morning, I run very fast in the race. My father and my mother watch me and cheer. My little sister waves at me too.
2After the race, we eat sandwiches on the grass. The sandwiches are yummy. Then we play fun games with our teachers. We throw the ball and jump high. My team wins a red star. I am proud of my team.
3At home, I read a book with my little sister. I tell her about my happy day. Run, eat, play and read are actions. Words like these are called verbs. I do many actions every day!

- 动词复习举个例子：动词是动作字，例如 run, eat, play, read。运动日（Sports Day）那天全校都在跑、跳、打气，到处都是动作，正好用来复习动词。判断动词的办法：这个动作做不做出来？能做出来的就是动词。
- 第一段：比赛举个例子：I run very fast in the race.（我在比赛中跑得很快）父母在旁 watch me and cheer（看著我并打气），妹妹则 waves（挥手）。一段里出现了 run, watch, cheer, wave 四个动词，阅读时可以用手指逐一指出它们。

- 动词加 s 的规则举个例子：主语是 he, she 或 it 时，现在式动词要加 s：I run，但 My father watches，My sister waves。主语是 I, you, we, they 时动词用原形。写完句子后先找主语，再检查动词，这个两步检查能避免大部分错误。
- can 后用原形举个例子：I can swim.（我会游泳）She can jump high.（她能跳得很高）。can 是助动词，表示能够；它后面的动词一律用原形，不加 s，也不加 ing。记住口诀：can 一出现，动词还原形，这样就不会写错。
- 新动词配对举个例子：cheer 是打气，wave 是挥手，throw 是抛掷，win 是赢。把动词和动作配对记忆，一边说一边做出动作，身体会帮助记忆。这四个都是运动日常用字，学会之后试试每个字各造一句，巩固得更快。

- 最后检查：逐句找出主语，看看 he、she、it 句的动词是否全部加了 s。
