1Peter and Jane are in the park. Peter has a new kite. He runs fast with the kite. Jane sits on the grass. She eats an apple. The kite flies high in the sky. It looks like a big bird.
2The wind blows hard. The kite goes higher and higher. Peter laughs and jumps. Jane claps her hands. A little dog runs near them. It barks happily. They laugh and play together. I watch them and smile.

- 代名词是什么Peter has a kite. He runs fast. 第二句的 He 代替了 Peter，不用把名字说了又说，这类字叫代名词（pronouns）。用代名词句子更简洁，读起来也不重复。试一试：把一段文字里出现多次的名字换成 he 或 she，读起来立刻顺口得多。
- 第一段套用在第一段里练习套用：Peter 是男孩，用 he：He runs fast.（他跑得快）；Jane 是女孩，用 she：She eats an apple.（她吃一个苹果）；kite 是东西，用 it：It looks like a big bird.（它像一只大鸟）。记住口诀：男用 he，女用 she，东西用 it。
- 七个主格代名词英语有七个主格代名词：I（我）、you（你）、he（他）、she（她）、it（它）、we（我们）、they（他们）。按照次序大声读几次，读到滚瓜烂熟。说英语或写句子时，先想清楚要代替谁，再从七个字中选出正确的那一个。

- we 还是 theywe 和 they 都是众数，但角度不同：说自己这一边的人用 we，例如 We have lots of fun.（我们玩得很开心）；说另外一群人用 they，例如 They laugh and play together.（他们又笑又玩）。先分清楚自己人在哪一边，再选用 we 或 they。
- 句式练习把两句用代名词连接：This is Amy. She is my friend.（这是 Amy，她是我的朋友）。第二句用 She 代替 Amy，名字只需要说一次。数一数用了代名词之后省了多少次名字，体会代名词让句子变得简洁的好处。

代名词配对比赛：把人名和事物换成正确的代名词，再用它们造出完整的句子。
- 先读七个代名词：I, you, he, she, it, we, they。一边读一边记住每个字代表谁。
- 先配单数：Peter（男孩）换成 he；Jane（女孩）换成 she；kite（东西）换成 it。
- 再配众数：Peter and Jane（两个人）换成 they；Peter and I（包括自己）换成 we。
- 配上动词读出来：He runs. She eats. It flies. 留意 he、she、it 之后动词要加 s。
- 写完整的句子：This is Amy. She is my friend. 第二句用 She 代替 Amy。
