- 名词 = 人、地方、事物的名：girl, park, desk。
- 人名地名是专有名词，开头大楷：Kate, Hong Kong。
- 一件加 a/an：a cat, an apple；多件加 s：two books。

§课文原文 Passage
1Kate walks to school every morning. She sees a cat on the wall. The cat is small and fat. At the school gate, she meets her friend Amy. They go into the classroom together.
2In class, Miss Lee says, "Nouns are names of people, places and things." "Girl, cat and school are all nouns." "Teacher, park and bus are nouns too." Kate looks at her book and her pencil. She says, "Book and pencil are nouns too!" Miss Lee smiles and says, "Yes, Kate! You are right."
3After class, Kate plays a noun game with Amy. They point at things and say the words. Desk, window, door! Now Kate finds nouns everywhere she goes. Learning nouns is easy and fun.

3逐步讲解 Steps
- 名词是什么Miss Lee 说：Nouns are names of people, places and things.（名词是人物、地方和事物的名称）。人的名称如 girl、teacher，地方的名称如 school、park，东西的名称如 desk、bus、book，全部都是名词。见到一件东西，先问自己：它的英语名称是什么？
- 第一段找名词读句子 Kate walks to school. She sees a cat on the wall.，找出里面的名词：Kate 是人名，school 是地方，cat 和 wall 是事物，全部都是名词。找名词的方法是问三个问题：这是人物、地方还是东西？只要其中一个答案是，它就是名词。
- 第二段找名词第二段里的 girl（女孩）、cat（猫）、school（学校）、teacher（老师）、park（公园）、bus（巴士）全部是名词。再看看课室四周：desk（书桌）、window（窗户）、door（门）也是名词。名词就在我们身边，只要留心，到处都能找到。
- 人名地名都是名词Kate、Amy、Miss Lee、Hong Kong 这类专有名词，是指某一个人或某一个地方的独特名称，第一个字母一定要大写：Kate、Hong Kong。普通名词如 girl、school 则不用大写。写完句子要检查一遍，看看人名地名有没有忘记大写。
- 分类小游戏把学过的名词放进三个篮子：人物篮有 girl、teacher、Kate；地方篮有 school、park、classroom；事物篮有 cat、desk、book、bus。全部放好以后，再检查一次有没有放错篮子。分类游戏可以帮助我们把名词记得更牢固，想起来也更快。
- a、an 和众数说一件东西时，名词前面加 a 或 an：a cat、a book、an apple；说两件或以上时，名词字尾要加 s：two books、three cats。用苹果试一次：一个苹果是 an apple，两个苹果就是 two apples。数量改变了，字的样子也会跟著改变。
- 句式练习用句式 I can see a cat.（我看见一只猫）来练习，和同学玩「指向说」游戏：指著见到的东西，用英语说出名称，例如 I can see a book. 说出来的每一个字都是名词，一边玩一边记，很快就能把身边的东西全部用英语说出来。
5例题示范 Example
名词分类比赛：把 Kate 在课文里见到的名词，全部放进「人物、地方、事物」三个篮子里。
- 重新读一次课文，一边读一边把所有名词圈出来，圈完再数一数一共找到了多少个。
- 先放人物篮：Kate, Amy, Miss Lee, girl, teacher，这些都是人的名称。
- 再放地方篮：school, park, classroom, school gate（校门），这些都是地方的名称。
- 最后放事物篮：cat, wall, desk, window, door, book, bus，这些都是东西的名称。
- 检查专有名词：Kate 和 Miss Lee 的第一个字母有没有大写？如果没有大写，马上改正。
- 数一数每个篮子里有多少个名词，看看哪一个篮子最多。
- 从每个篮子选一个名词造句，例如 I can see a cat.，读出来检查。
