2How are you? I have some exciting news to share with you. Last month, I won second prize in the school writing competition! I could not believe my ears when our teacher called my name. My essay was about a flag-selling day with my classmates. We raised over two thousand dollars for the children's hospital. My parents were very proud of me, and Dad took our whole class out for noodles.
3School life is busy but fun. I am practising basketball every Tuesday and Thursday, and I can almost do a lay-up now. How is Auntie Mary? Is my little cousin learning to walk now? - 尾段考点是尾段与结语的规范：尾段送上祝福，并邀请对方回信，例如 Please write back soon. Best wishes. 结语常用 Best wishes、Love、Yours，下一行写署名；祝福与署名各占一行，版面才整齐美观。易错之处是结语与署名挤在同一行，或漏掉邀请回信的一句；请对方回信是书信的礼貌，也是结尾的自然收束，这一笔不可省，写完再看一眼版面，整齐才交卷。
- 日期格式考点是英文日期的写法：日加月份加年份，例如 12 May 2026，写在信纸右上角、称呼之上。日子用数字，月份用英文字并大写首字母；写成 12th May 2026 也可以。方法是全信采用同一种写法，前后一致。易错之处是月份细写，例如 12 may 2026，或次序混乱写成月份在前；日期是书信的第一印象，写得准确而工整，整封信的格式便有了好的开始，这一分最稳妥，也最不该失。
