1Last Sunday, my family went to the beach. The weather was hot and sunny. We arrived at nine in the morning. My father set up the tent. My mother put out the towels and the picnic food.
2I swam in the sea with my brother. The water was cool. My little brother built a big sandcastle. Two birds stood near our towel and looked at our sandwiches. My mother took many photos.
3We ate fish and chips for lunch. In the afternoon, we collected shells on the beach. I found a beautiful pink shell and put it in my pocket. We went home at five. It was a great day. Before we left, my father took one last photo of all of us. My mother said, 'This is the best family day.' On the bus home, my brother fell asleep on my shoulder. I hope we can go to the beach again this summer.

3逐步讲解 Steps
- 过去式读法文章开头是 Last Sunday，上星期日发生的事，所以全篇动词用过去式：went、swam、built、ate。阅读时留意动词形式改变了，就知道事情发生在过去。这些是不规则动词：go 变 went、swim 变 swam、build 变 built、eat 变 ate。易错位：过去式不受人称影响，不论主词是 he 还是 we，动词形式都一样。
- 第一段：到达沙滩We arrived at nine in the morning，arrive at 加地点表示到达某处，时间放在 nine in the morning。My father set up the tent，set up 表示搭建，set 的过去式仍然是 set。读图画配文字时，先看人物在哪里、正在做什么，帮助理解。易错位：arrive in 用于大城市，arrive at 用于沙滩、车站等具体地点。

- 第三段：午餐和拾贝We ate fish and chips for lunch，午餐吃了鱼柳和薯条，eat 的过去式是 ate，for lunch 表示作为午餐。In the afternoon, we collected shells，下午去拾贝壳；I found a beautiful pink shell and put it in my pocket，把一枚漂亮的粉红色贝壳放进口袋。易错位：found 是 find 的过去式；put 的过去式仍是 put，形式不变。
- 时间线答题按时间次序整理全文：九点到达，早上游泳，午餐吃鱼柳薯条，下午拾贝壳。答 When 和 What 问题时，先在文中找出时间词，再看该时段发生的事件，答案最稳妥。易错位：When 问题答时间，What 问题答事件，两类答案不要调转；答案尽量用文中原字，不必自己改写。
- 复述故事用三句复述全文：Last Sunday we went to the beach. We swam, ate fish and chips and collected shells. 第一句交代时间和地点，第二句用三个动词概括全日活动。复述是检查理解的最好方法，能说出重点就代表读懂了。易错位：复述时动词要保持过去式，不要中途变回现在式。

- 检查：四个答案是否全部来自文中原字？时间和事件有没有配错？
