- 第一段：家里的宠物例句 My cat is white. She likes to sleep on my bed. My dog is brown. He runs very fast.，意思是我的猫是白色的，喜欢睡在床上；我的狗是棕色的，跑得很快。cat 是猫，dog 是狗，I feed them every day 是我每天喂它们。读的时候留意 he 和 she 的用法。
- 第二段：去动物园在动物园里可以见到很多动物：tiger（老虎）身上有 black stripes（黑色条纹），lion（狮子）头上有 long hair（长长的毛）；还有 rabbit（兔子）正在吃 carrot（红萝卜），bird（小鸟）在树上唱歌。用英语形容动物的样子，句子会更具体、更生动。

- he、she 还是 it知道动物是公的还是母的，可以用 he 或 she：My cat is white. She sleeps a lot.（她很爱睡觉）；不知道性别，或者泛指一种动物时，就用 it：Look at the bird! It can fly.（它会飞）。先想一想该用哪一个代词，选对了句子才通顺。
- 众数规则说一只动物时用 a：a cat、a dog；两只或以上就要加 s：two cats、three dogs、four rabbits。有些字特别：fish 很多条仍然写作 fish，不用加 s。数动物时记住：单数配 a，众数配 two、three 这些数字，动词形式也要跟著改变。
- 句式练习用两个句式介绍动物：A tiger has black stripes.（老虎有黑色条纹）、A dog can run fast.（狗可以跑得很快）。has 用来说外表特征，can 用来说本领。自己选两种动物，一种用 A ___ has ...，另一种用 A ___ can ...，各说出一个完整的句子。

做一个小动物园长：把八种动物分成两组，再为每组动物说出一句特征介绍。
- 先读八个单词：cat, dog, bird, fish, rabbit, tiger, lion, panda。读的时候在心里想一想每种动物的样子。
- 先分家养组：cat（猫）、dog（狗）、fish（鱼）、rabbit（兔子），这些都可以养在家里。
- 再分动物园组：tiger（老虎）、lion（狮子）、panda（熊猫）、bird（小鸟），这些要在动物园才能看到。
- 给动物配上特征短语：a white cat（白色的猫）、a brown dog（棕色的狗）、a black and white panda（黑白熊猫）。
- 把短语串成完整的句子：A tiger has black stripes. A rabbit eats carrots. 注意众数字尾要加 s。
- 最后扮演园长，向同学介绍两种动物，一人说一句，看看谁的句子说得又完整又正确。
- 答案：家养组：a cat, a dog, a fish, a rabbit；动物园组：a tiger, a lion, a panda, a bird。特征例句：A tiger has black stripes. A rabbit eats carrots. 介绍动物时先说名称，再说特征。
