§Text Passage
1I have lived in Sha Tin since I was born, and it is a wonderful community. Every morning, my neighbour Mrs Lam and I take the same bus to work and school. We always greet the bus driver with a smile. Near the station, there is a shopping mall with many small shops, a bookshop and two fast-food restaurants. There are also several temples and a big park by the river.
2At the weekend, I ride my bicycle in the park, and my father practises tai chi with his friends. My mother works as a nurse in the local hospital, and she often tells me stories about her kind patients. There is a youth centre next to the library, where children can play table tennis and do their homework. After school, I do my homework in the library because it is quiet and cool.
3The local market sells fresh vegetables, sweet fruit and delicious fish balls. The stall owners know my name, and Grandma Cheung always gives me an extra orange. On Saturday evenings, there is a small bazaar near the river, and volunteers sell handmade crafts for charity. I love my community because the people here are kind and helpful. A community is not just a place; it is the neighbours who make it feel like home.
