§Text Passage

1My first month at secondary school was busy but exciting. Every morning, I wake up at six thirty, pack my school bag and check my timetable to see the first subject of the day. We have English nearly every day, and my favourite subject, Art, is on Wednesday. My form teacher, Miss Ho, waits for us in the classroom before the bell rings. When the bell rings, we stand up, greet her and say good morning together. On Mondays, the whole school has assembly in the hall before lessons, and the principal shares important news.

2At recess, my classmates and I run to the canteen for fish balls and pineapple buns. The queue is long, so we take turns to buy food while the others keep our seats. I keep my stationery in a small pencil case on my desk, and I always carry a spare pen for tests. After lunch, we have lessons like Maths, Science and PE. On Wednesday afternoons, I attend the Art Club in the art room.

3After school, I do my homework before dinner, and my best classmate Karen sometimes video-calls me when the exercises are difficult. She sits next to me in class and helps me with Maths. Secondary school life is very different from primary school, but I love every minute of it.
