Our school held a Green Week in April to teach us about protecting the environment.

The guide said the mangroves are an important ecosystem for fish, crabs and birds, and many kinds of wildlife depend on them.

導賞員說，紅樹林是魚、蟹和雀鳥重要的生態系統，很多野生動物都依靠它生存。

Climate change is making the sea warmer, and this is dangerous for wildlife, the speaker warned us.

講者提醒我們，氣候變化令海水變暖，對野生動物十分危險。

She asked us to think about small actions we can take every day.

她叫我們想想每天可以做的小行動。

For example, we can bring our own bottles and bags instead of using plastic ones.

We can also save electricity by turning off the lights when we leave a room.

After Green Week, our class started a recycling corner beside the tuck shop.

We collect waste paper, plastic bottles and old batteries every Friday.
